About

As a freelance creative director, graphic designer and brand consultant, Melissa Wehrman Householder spent a decade between Boston and New York City before settling her design studio among the charmingly quiet village of Whitehouse, Ohio. From her office in the heartland, she works with clients everywhere from nearby Toledo to across the country in Denver, Boston, Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles, and Miami.

She is one of the lucky ones who is happy and excited to go to work. Having discovered design at the ripe age of 15 at one of her very first jobs, Melissa’s passion has never faltered. Over twenty years later, she still takes great pleasure in dreaming up ideas she’s increasingly proud of, building long-term relationships with inspiring clients and vendors, and even earning a few design awards, not to mention the joy that can only come from her client’s excitement, appreciation, and successes.

She enjoys spending time with her family, warm weather, experimenting in the kitchen, traveling to new places or to visit old friends, NPR talk radio, surviving marathons and triathlons, the view of her wooded backyard over the perfect cup of coffee or a cucumber margarita, giving back to the community, and smack-talking over a game of Scrabble.
