After several weeks at my internship at Neo-Design in 2001, they ran out of projects to give me because they hadn't expected an intern to be as experienced. The principle then
gave me the task of working on
a
pet project she had always envisioned — a line of Eastern zodiac silver jewelry. I proposed to additionally produce the Western zodiac figures as well so people could pick between the two or mix and match. I did the research on the various signs as well as turned the painted sketches into graphics and designed the actual pieces. Several months after leaving Neo, the jewelry was fabricated overseas and sold in multiple retail stores across the country. Shown here are two samples of the large pendants. |
